Chattanooga: Fewer Latin American immigrants sending money home (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
Among 5,000 Latin American adults living in the United States who participated in the survey, conducted in February, only 50 percent said they still were sending money to their families on a regular basis, down from 73 percent in 2006. In Tennessee, the numbers declined from 78 percent to 58 percent, and in Georgia from 85 percent to 53 percent, according to the poll.
